Grant requests can be for programs, general support, or a capital project.

Under the terms of the trust creating the foundation, grants are provided exclusively for the following:

1. Programs for needy children in Israel
   at least 1/2 of grant money is for this purpose
2. Programs for Jewish children and elderly in the U.S.
   The primary geographic area of interest is the Tampa Bay area of Florida

The Foundation considers “children” to include up to and through college age.

Applications

Each year in February or March the June Baumgardner Gelbart Foundation approves grants to Section 501(c)(3) organizations for the calendar year.

The deadline for submission of all applications for grants is December 31st.
